The Association of Consultant Architects

This project came to me via a Creative Designer already working with The Association of Consultant Architects. They were looking to implement some changes to their existing website but were hitting issues due to the site not being maintained properly. To add to the challenge, this was not a simple site, with a membership area and eCommerce.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, it was not economically viable to recover the old site, so I began working with the designer to implement a completely new site.

Not only did this project involve recreating the functionality of the existing site, but we also had historical data that needed to be moved across. We also had to manage the migration of the user database to ensure members still had access to the correct content.

To ensure the new website did not suffer the same fate as the previous one, The Association of Consultant Architects took out a WordPress Care Plan which allowed me to manage the ongoing maintenance of the site and provide any support when required.
